The Colorado QuitLine is a free service that helps Colorado residents quit using tobacco and nicotine products. It offers personalized coaching, support materials, and free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) such as patches, gum, or lozenges.

All Colorado residents aged 18 and older are eligible, regardless of income or insurance status. The program supports individuals using any form of tobacco, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, oral nicotine pouches, and smokeless tobacco.  My Life, My Quit is available for Colorado youth between 12 and 17 who need help to quit using nicotine.

Enrollment is quick and easy. You can sign up online at coquitline.org or by calling 1-800-QUIT-NOW. The process takes less than five minutes.

No, the QuitLine services are free to all participants.

Participants receive proactive coaching sessions, access to online resources, and, if eligible, free NRT. Coaches provide personalized support to help you develop a quit plan and manage cravings.

While we highly recommend coaching due to its effectiveness, the QuitLine also offers an Online-Only program with self-help materials. However, research shows that individuals who engage with a coach are more likely to quit successfully.

Quitting tobacco often requires multiple attempts. The QuitLine understands this and is here to support you, whether it’s your first try or your tenth. Each attempt brings you closer to quitting for good.

Yes, the QuitLine provides support for quitting all forms of tobacco and nicotine products, including e-cigarettes, vaping devices, nicotine pouches and smokeless tobacco.
